Rangers International FC of Enugu has announced a strategic partnership with Eye Ball, a leading technology platform focused on talent development and performance analysis.
The General Manager/CEO of Rangers, Amobi Ezeaku made this known in a statement made available to Sports writers in Enugu by the club’s media team.
Ezeaku said that the collaboration aimed to digitally transform the club’s approach from its youth ranks to the senior team.
“The partnership holds significant promise for both the academy and the professional setup of the Flying Antelopes.
“For the Academicals and youth teams, the integration of the Eye Ball platform will see young talents boarded onto a system that creates verified digital profiles.
“These profiles will showcase their skills through videos, comprehensive statistics, and key performance metrics, ” he said.
According to the GM the digital footprint was expected to significantly enhance international visibility for the budding stars, potentially unlocking valuable scholarship opportunities.
He said: “The benefits extend to the senior team, where the club’s technical crew will gain access to sophisticated video and data analysis tools provided by Eye Ball.
“This will empower them to conduct in-depth evaluations of both their own players’ performances and the tactical approaches of their opponents.
“Digitized match footage and player statistics will become integral to the team’s operations, aiding in crucial tactical decision-making, meticulous fitness monitoring, and proactive injury prevention strategies.”
Ezeaku sated that the collaboration reinforced the belief that the future of football lies at the intersection of talent and technology.
