Eid-el-fitr: Immam encourages Nigerians to live life of humility

 

 

Immam Saliman Lateef-Olawale, urged Nigerians to always live life of humility and hold onto it in all they do, saying that, only such will foster unity in the country.

Lateef-Olawale, encouraged Nigerians to do so, when addressing the Muslim faithful during the Ramadan prayer at the Abia Fire Services praying ground in Aba, Abia, on Sunday.

The month of Ramadan started on March 1, and ended on March 30 as it has been observed annual in the whole world by Muslim faithful.

The Immam who is also the Secretary League of Immam Yoruba chapter and mission Nasfat, Aba, urged the Muslim faithful to continue with the good doing they learnt in the month of Ramadan.

He said, “the significant of today prayers is for us to continue with good deed that we have learnt in the month of Ramadan.

“Ramadan has come to teach of quiescent and that means we should be conscious of God and continue to do good things we have been doing or learnt during the Ramadan.

“We thank God for seeing us through the month of Ramadan and for fulfiling the obligation of fasten and praying for peace of the country.

“God ask us to cap the month of Ramadan with joy and praises so we thank him that we are celebrating and rejoicing today for a successful month of Ramadan,”he said.

He said the end of the Ramadan marks the day that Allah has forgiving them their past sins and made them a new creature.

“Today marks the day God forgive us all our past sins and make us to be a new person and we are happy that Allah has forgiving our sins.

“Now, we are like a new born baby without any sin and that was why we have every cause to have joy and praise him with our appreciation through celebration,”Lateef-Olawale said.

The Immam, encourages the citizens to see their neighbours and everybody around them as brothers to Forster peace.

“The Koran taught us that, whoever that kill a soul seems like he has killed a whole world and it encourage us to live in peace with our neighbours, friends and families.

“Koran also told us that, we are not a believer untill we want for our neighbour what we want for ourselves.
