Coach Lofty Uche of Udi Stars Football Academy, Enugu has advised his player, Raphael Umah who travelled to Morocco with Nigeria under 15 teams to be a good ambassador of the academy and Nigeria at large.
Coach Uche gave the advise when he spoke to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Enugu on Thursday.
NAN reports the country under 15 known as,”Future Eagles,” left the shore of the country on Wednesday and will play two friendly matches with Morocco under 15.
Coach Uche expressed confidence that the player, Umah will represent the country well and has been doing well with the academy.
“Umah is one of the best leg in Udi Stars and I believed he will do well with the national under 15 at Morocco,”he said.
The coach advised Umah to always listen to the national team coaches, exhibit the good character which he know him off which will open door for other players of the academy.
Uche who noted that Udi Stars FA is barely three years, said the academy will continue to discover and harness talents for Nigeria league and the national teams.
He was optimistic that, more players from the academy will get national call up to the age grade competitions, saying that talents abond in his team.
NAN reports, this will be the team’s first international experience since the inception of the FIFA Talent Development Scheme (TDS) in the country.
The two friendly matches have been scheduled for the Complexe Mohammed VI de Football on the 12th and 15th December, with kick-off time of 5pm local time on both days.
