CIC ENUGU PRINCIPAL HONOURED WITH AWARD.

The Principal of the Prestigious College of Immaculate Conception Enugu Rev Fr Chetanna Oliver Ngwu have been honoured by a Media group South East Media forum as the winner of this year’s Distinguished Merit Award for Mission Schools in the South East for his exemplary leadership and administration.

In a Citation read at the event Rev Fr Oliver Was described as a workaholic who keyed into the system that was set up by his Predicessor Rev Fr Mgbodile.

Reacting to the honour the Awardee Said he was very humbled to be declared as the winner of the prestigious Award in the South East mission Schools.CIC he went on to describe as an institution noted for discipline and high morals which is the bed rock fo future foundation.

In CIC its a zero tolerance and we believe in time management and commitment to duties and get it right all the time.

On the Challenges facing Administrators and teachers one major Challenge is the background issues where Parents are no longer interested in training their Children and thus not Cultivating Values necessary for their lives and leaving everything for the teachers and administrators.

This is a major Challenge facing School authorities and some times the Parents do not help matters with some reprimanding the educators.Parents Rev Oliver Said should allow the School authorities to do their work so that the Students will be trained and be useful in the future.

On the Catholic Education Commission Rev Oliver noted that the Bishop of the diocese Rt Hon Callistus Onaga, the Auxiliary Bishop Most Rev Ernest Obodo have taken Education to the next level with their commitment to give the Students Sound Education and Suggested the Commission should be a reference to how to manage Educational institutions.

He lauded his Fellow Pre formators such as Fr Nwankwo,fr Augustine,fr Emma and the management of the School as they are all part of the Success story and finally dedicating the Award to the almighty God he concluded.
