The Ebonyi State House of Assembly has screened the 17 member nominees of Governor Francis Nwifuru for the Local Government Advisory Committee.
Speaker of the House, Hon. Moses Odunwa, while presiding during the screening on Friday in Abakaliki confirmed the nominees.
Our correspondent reports that the nominees are to oversee the activities of the 13 Local Government Area (LGA) of the State.
Odunwa, represented by his Deputy, Mr Chinedu Onah hailed the state governor on human capital development for the people.
Mr Eloy-Eloy Ogbonna and Mr Hilary Igwe, who spoke on behalf of the nominees thanked the governor for appointing them and pledged to study the law establishing the Committee and work for a better Ebonyi.
