Hon Igbo Ernest Chiagozie was one of those that caught the bug of the obidients during the last year’s election In Enugu state and as soon as he joined labour party he became the Ward Chairman of Achiagu ward 2.
The results of his entrance into the party brought a result that no body both in the ruling party and even the stake holders were expecting. Hon Ernest is today the Chairman of his community and have provided an enabling environment to his people with the installation of street lights in all the crannies of the Community in Akwu Achi.
In an exclusive interview in his country home yesterday,Hon Ernest who is a very successful business man with his directorship of three companies when prodded why entering into the murky water of Politics noted that his Passion for the welfare of Oji River people brought him into the candidacy of the labour Party and he did not have any difficulty in Picking up the ticket because of his antecedents.
Hon Ernest Stated that he felt the urge to come and rescue Ojiriver People who have greatly been Short changed for more than twenty four years in a row with out anything tangible to Show for these number of years.
Today he averred Labour Party is on course to change the narratives in the leadership of the various elective positions as can be seen in what people like His Excellency Alex Otti the Governor of Abia state and the Representatives of the party In both the green and red Chambers are bringing to the table currently.
In his words the people of Oji River are eager to repeat the same feat in the coming Local government election in October he concluded.
